Streamlined assessment and recommendations package
£1,050.00

For straightforward cases with clear traits and history

This package is ideal for clients who already have a strong sense of their autistic traits and a consistent developmental history. An ADI-R in isolation can give a ‘working’ diagnosis, and so this package is helpful for people wishing to gain recommendations for reasonable adjustments or support at work or for education, by means of a personalised profile of autism traits, skills and challenges.

It includes:

  • Pre-assessment questionnaire

  • In depth clinical interview using the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) A structured developmental history tool, often used with a parent or informant

  • Formulation based on DSM-5 criteria and MDT consultation.

  • 30 minute feedback appointment/call

  • Written report with tailored recommendations

  • GP letter

This approach is efficient, focused, and respectful of each client’s story. It is designed to offer clarity and validation without unnecessary complexity.

Duration: Approx. 2–3 hours (plus report writing) Format: Online or in-person

Comprehensive assessment package
£1,600.00

For more complex presentations or when a full diagnostic service is needed.

This package is recommended when a full diagnostic assessment is needed. This is the package you will need to select if you wish to use a potential diagnosis to support an application for benefits, e.g. PIP.

It may be that traits are nuanced, heavily masked, or overlapping with other neurodevelopmental or mental health conditions. It includes:

  • Pre-assessment questionnaire

  • In-depth clinical interview

  • Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) A structured developmental history tool, often used with a parent or informant

  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) A semi-structured, interactive assessment that explores communication, social interaction, and behaviour

  • Full diagnostic formulation and written report

  • 30 minute feedback appointment/call

  • GP letter

This package offers a more robust, multi-method approach for clients who need a thorough exploration of their profile. It’s especially useful for people with complex histories, those with co-occurring conditions, or where previous assessments have been inconclusive. The ADI-R portion of the assessment can be completed online or in person. Due to the interactive nature of the ADOS-2 assessment, ideally this would be completed in one of our local clinic spaces (location to be agreed at time of booking), however it can be adapted to online provision by request.

We offer a 15% discount off the comprehensive assessment package for NHS staff, students, and parents on maternity/paternity leave. Other discretionary discounts may be available. Please contact us to discuss eligibility.

About Leap

Leap was set up by Jessica Lea, a registered learning disability nurse with almost 20 years experience in all things autism. Alongside her work as clinical director of Leap, Jess also works full time as a community learning disability nurse in the NHS, a role which brings her great joy and pride. Jess also has lived experience of autism, having gone through the assessment process herself in 2021. Using her professional skills, and lived experience, Leap was born out of a desire to provide compassionate, person centered, and neuro affirming autism assessments to adults in the north west and beyond.

Although Leap is a ‘one woman operation’, Jess works alongside other professionals to form the MDT side of all clinical decisions, so no diagnosis is ever made in isolation, meaning that all diagnoses are in line with NICE guidance and clinical ethics.

Leap is not affiliated with the NHS or any NHS trust. Our conflict of interest policy (along with all other policies) can be found at the link at the bottom of the page.
